Cotillion & etiquette classes in Houston

Every cotillion and etiquette class we found in the Houston area, with the dates parents miss most: when registration opens and closes, and when refunds end.

  • What is cotillion? A series of classes in manners, introductions, table etiquette and social (ballroom) dance, usually ending in a dinner dance or ball. Etiquette schools skip the dancing.
  • Typical grades Mostly 5th–8th grade. National League of Junior Cotillions (NLJC) chapters take 6th–8th; pre-cotillion starts in 1st grade, and etiquette schools teach from age 4.
  • When to sign up NLJC seasons run about Aug–Feb and open in early summer. Winter and spring sessions (Garden Oaks/Heights, Bay Area, Houston Club Cotillion) are open now.

Sorted by status: registering now, opening soon, invitation / request packet, not announced, closed. “Not announced” means the program hasn’t posted its next season; any dates shown there are labeled as last season. Programs with no posted grade show under “Any grade” only. We leave out anything a program hasn’t posted rather than guess. Missing a program? Tell us.
